This perfect example of the combined Virtual Sound and Thirty Two Music integrated audio production service was a pleasure to work on.

We began with an in-depth music consultation with the agency. The specific music brief was up in the air, which is a place in which we thrive. We were able to break down the campaign with the director, creatives and production team to agree on what it was trying to achieve, where the humour of the campaign needed to be supported and where it didn't, and what needed to lead sound-wise in the different sections of the spot to arrive at a selection of concrete directions to explore. The team was unanimous in choosing the orchestral direction you hear in the final piece as it allowed the on screen performances and VO deliver the humour with music taking a supporting, more atmospheric role.

We began the vocal recordings at storyboard stage as they were essential to the overall musical theme, but were needed for the on-screen cast to shoot to. We got round this by recording temp voices for the shoot and then re-recording to match the personalities and performances captures on the day.

Finally, we tied is all together with the creation of the sound design by one of our leading engineers Tom Joyce.
